Operating Instructions

1. Inspect all fasteners for tightness. Should any be loose, tighten them before commencing operation to ensure safe use of the equipment.

2. Before use, fill the reservoir to approximately 3/4 to 4/5 capacity (around 30 litres) with clean hydraulic oil. Depending on local climate and season, generally use 68# oil in summer and 46# oil in winter. Top up hydraulic oil if levels are found to be insufficient during operation.

3. The engine serves as the power source for this machine. Before use, first read the engine manual thoroughly to familiarise yourself with precautions and operating procedures, ensuring proper machine operation and extending service life.

4. The multi-way valve incorporates a relief valve. The system pressure is factory-set and should not be adjusted arbitrarily. Should adjustment be necessary, the pressure must not exceed 16MPa.

5. Prior to operation, verify that the hydraulic oil level is adequate. Actuate the multi-way valve control lever to inspect the independent operation of each component. Familiarise yourself with the directional control valve sequence (as per the indicator plate) to ensure correct operation.

6. Track Lifting and Track Setting Procedure:

6.1 Position the track lifting and setting machine on the rails, start the engine, and allow it to idle for 3–5 minutes to verify all components are functioning correctly.

6.2. First familiarise yourself with the control functions and directions of each handle on the manifold valve. Activate the 'Track Hooking' handle to securely engage the rail hook with the rail tongue.

Then select either track lifting or track straightening operation and proceed as follows:

a. Track Lifting Operation: First move the 'Left/Right Track Straightening Control' handle on the valve body to the 'Reset' position. Once the left and right straightening cylinders have reached their positions, release the handle. Subsequently, operate the 'Left/Right Lifting Control' handles in the direction indicated on the nameplate to perform the track lifting operation.

b. Track Setting Operation: For left track setting, first move the valve body's 'Left Track Setting Control' handle to the 'Raise' position. The left track setting cylinder will begin to extend. Release the handle once the left lifting cylinder has reached the required angle. Then perform the track setting operation in the direction indicated on the nameplate.

6.3 Upon completion of lifting or track adjustment, move the 'Left/Right Lift Control' handle to the 'Lower' position and await full retraction of the outriggers. Switch the 'Track Hook Control' handle to the "Release" position and await hook disengagement. Subsequently, move the 'Lift Control' handle to the 'Lift' position and await the equipment reaching its maximum height before moving to the next workstation.

6.4 Should track removal be required, do not switch off the petrol engine.

7. When manual pumping is required, simply operate the pressure handle; all other procedures follow the steps outlined above.

8. During transportation, avoid impacts to prevent deformation that could hinder smooth operation. Ensure exposed piston rods remain clean at all times.
