Method of Operation
Lifting Operation - Position the unit upright, placing the hook tongue section of the rack or the top of rack 7 beneath the rail or heavy object. Press down on the reversing plate 12 (upward lift indicates lowering position, downward indicates lifting position). Raise the rapid descent plate 13 to its horizontal position. Insert the crowbar into the hole in the rocker arm 4. Forcefully swing the crowbar up and down to lift the rail section or heavy object tooth by tooth to the desired height. Note: When operating with two or more persons, ensure force is applied evenly.
Rapid Lowering (Unloading) Operation - Remove the crowbar, press down the rapid-lowering plate 13, and the rack will descend rapidly to complete the rapid lowering.

Slow descent operation - When lowering by one or two teeth after lifting, proceed as follows: Raise the reversing plate 12 upwards, then press down (or lift upwards) the crowbar to actuate the rocker arm 4, causing the rack 7 to descend one tooth. Slowly lift (or press down) the crowbar to actuate the rocker arm 4 again, causing the rack 7 to descend another tooth. Repeat the above steps if multiple teeth need to be lowered. Note: When two or more persons operate the mechanism, ensure force is applied uniformly.
