Instructions for Use and Precautions
(I) Method of Use:
Pre-Operation Checks
1. Inspect the petrol engine for proper functioning. Refuel and lubricate according to the engine's operating requirements.
2. Before operation, verify that the grinding wheel is undamaged and not damp.
3. Prior to operation, ensure the grinding wheel and its protective guard are correctly positioned.
4. Verify all machine fine adjustments before operation.
Starting the Engine
1. Position the machine on the rail, ensuring the grinding wheel is at least 3mm above the rail surface.
2. Start the engine; refer to the petrol engine manual for method and precautions.
Rail Grinding
1. Set the grinding wheel depth to the required level using the electric control switch (adjust based on rail conditions).
2. Raise the grinding wheel to the rail's highest protrusion point to commence grinding. When moving the machine back and forth over the grinding area, control the wheel's feed rate using the feed button switch.
3. When grinding both sides of the rail, adjust the angle using the deflection handwheel.
4. For specialised operations, stationary grinding of the entire rail is permitted.
Shutdown Procedure
First raise the grinding wheel to a height exceeding 3mm above the rail surface. Then turn the ignition switch to the off position before deactivating the petrol engine switch.
